Sleigh Rides

National Elk Refuge Sleigh Rides

Season: Early December through Late March
Trip Length: 1 hour
Trip Times: Departs hourly from the Visitor Center between 10 am and 4 pm
Minimum Age: None
Cancellation Policy: 24 hours in advance of trip departure

 

The National Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride is a famous Jackson Hole experience! Ride a horse drawn sleigh into the herds of Elk that have migrated from the high country to survive our harsh winters. Learn about these amazing big game animals that have traveled from as far away as Yellowstone to their winter range here in Jackson Hole. Amazing views of Grand Teton National Park are also enjoyed on these sleigh rides.

NEW: Teton Village Sleigh Rides

In cooperation with Yellowstone Outfitters, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has two new exciting horse-drawn sleigh ride offerings this winter.

 

Two Horse Open Sleigh Ride in a Cinderella Sleigh

This private sleigh starts slope-side and takes you around Teton Village on the route and destination of your choice. This is the perfect way to relax after a day of skiing or to experience a unique transportation to dinner. These private sleigh rides can host 5 adults or 6 children (or any combination thereof) and are available daily starting at 5:00 pm for 30 minutes.

 

Bucking Bronco Sleigh

Hop on this sleigh for an afternoon or early evening ride through the mile-long meadow north of Teton Village. A great way for friends and family to unwind, enjoy the spectacular Teton scenery and watch the stars comes out. This sleigh can accommodate up to 15 people with rides starting at 5:00 pm daily and lasting for one hour.
