Snowshoe & Cross-Country Ski Tours
For those seeking a serene experience, allow one of our naturalist guides to lead you on a journey into the heart of winter on snowshoes or cross-country skis. You will follow animal tracks in the snow, examine different aspects of our winter ecology and enjoy the outstanding beauty of Jackson Hole while it is blanketed in white. Tours are offered in Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding National Forest. Tours are offered which accommodate all ages and abilities.
The Explorer
Season: November 15 - April 1
Trip Length: 4 Hours
Pickup Times: 8:00 am & 1:00 pm
Minimum Age: 6 years
Cancellation Policy: 48 hours in advance of trip departure
Enjoy our half-day tour and get a taste of winter backcountry travel. These tours are catered to your individual ability. Bottled water, snacks, transportation, and the use of fanny packs and binoculars are included. These tours also include snowshoe rental. Skis and boots can be rented locally.
Rate: $240 1-2 people, excludes park passes
3 or more people: $95 per adult, $75 per child, excludes park passes
The Trekker
Season: November 15 - April 1
Trip Length: 6 Hours
Pickup Times: 9:00 am
Minimum Age: 6 years
Cancellation Policy: 48 hours in advance of trip departure
You will have more time with this tour to get deeper into the backcountry. This tour is rated as moderate to strenuous and will show you Grand Teton National Park as few get to experience it. Bottled water, lunch and snacks, transportation, and the use of fanny packs and binoculars are included. These tours include snowshoe rental. Skis and boots can be rented locally.
Rate: $330 for 1-2 people, excludes park passes
